Good Morning Life
Everyday is a new joy to wake up to.
It’s so therapeutic to roll out of bed to wander outside to a heart stopping green world I can call my own.
The grass is greener here.
The packet called them Contenders.
These cute bushy babies had lovely purple flowers but it was like magic the string of beans appeared!
This Green Bell has gifted us with 4 amazing peppers before we get to enjoy these.
It is also one of my absolute favorite plants to photograph.
Like most of my plants I was so excited to grow them I didn’t take the time to research them as I should.
As you can see, the mint is now growing into the Jalapenos since I did not plant it with a container.
Lesson learned but I am still excited to see where this yummy smelling plant ventures.
Mini Okra Forest.
Bob the Basil is the Original Gangsta here.
My favorite Christmas gift I have ever received.
He’s a gift who just keeps giving.
I can never seem to get over how amazing it is to walk out back and stick my toes in the water for the koi to nibble on.
My life is truly a dreamland of enthralling nature that teaches and inspires my soul.
What gave you joy this morning?
Everyday there is a new chance to create something fun that makes you smile.
Arts and Crafts have taken over this house.
Here is my roomies idea of using his old laundry detergent bottles.
This is mine.
He’s a nerd .
We planted some african daisies, a yellow flower I cannot pronounce and poppies.
He is my roomies.
My friend Toasty passed on this Eggcellent use of eggshells.
The seedlings are loving it!!
Teacup Poppy .
I didn’t realize how many attempts it would take to grow cilantro from seeds.
They love the sun but my garage operation for seedling growth is their most successful spot.
Some serious cilantro now!
Four different kinds of lettuce loving the sunlight.
A little update on the seed operation.
It makes the garage one of my favorite sitting spots.
A place of Peace, Joy and Life.
I have really come to love planting seeds.
The satisfaction of living green things growing from a dormant state and me not killing them is as I repeat, a great satisfaction.
I have been going to walmart and dollar stores for those 20 cent seed packets.
They grow beautifully.
There is Romaine,
and another leafy lettuce I lost the packet for.
Those Delicious Roma Tomatoes !
I can’t wait to have these in some homemade stir fry!
.Sugar Snap Peas.
Grocery store avocado finally doing something…
Beautiful Butterfly Buddies
Not sure what kind they are.
this guy I apparently should have smushed …
I adore the garden our wonderful little household has created. It’s beautiful and life-giving. But what else I love is the inspirations of another’s wonderland. Here’s a few captured moments of my morning in my friends’ garden …
I love this pineapple!
purple is my all time favorite.
I love the shade of pink,
or is it red.
clusters of pretty-ness!
Mini Jungle of Veg
They have a few of these pumpkins!
I can’t wait for ours to get that far along.
Hot Banana Peppers swishing in the breeze.
I believe these are another pepper, not sure if they’re Jalapenos though.
Cherry Tomatos !
I think these were the Yummy Bells.
Koi Fish and Turtles!
First time I got see them!
I hope you enjoy these joys I got to see this morning as much as I have.
your the best…
I wouldnt love the things I love if you had not introduced them into my life. I can do nothing but thank you for giving birth to my very existence and caring for me every day since. I may not live under your roof or enjoying your cooking as often.
I know I don’t call as much, but you are the most beautiful woman I know.
You have taught me the most important lessons in life and have been a strength if you didnt know how to help. I remember you took me to get my first pet PJ the cat, whom everyone loved. RIP Darth Kitty. I can’t recall a memory that doesn’t include crafts, animals, enjoying nature or reading books. These things are important to you and in turn important to me.
Your love and passion for nature has inspired me. obviously… 🙂
Your love for animals leaves me with a house of 4 dogs, a cat and about 60 fish. As I think back, every room in our home had books in it. My house is now the same. Knowledge is a powerful tool but fantasy is just as much. The fiction stories i read, because of you, were so empowering and captivating. my imagination ran wild and my soul learned through words a sense of freedom.
You did the whole Huzzah.
Girl Scout Leader.
Cub Scout Leader.
Cab driver to all my karate lessons, school, the mall, gymnastics…
You microwaved my ABC’s before I would go to kindergarten.
You’d make the best cakes every birthday and pinatas that are unbreakable. 🙂 Your french toast is out of this world. I miss your chicken and dumplings on cold nights.
I appreciate you.
That’s my bottom line.
Life is beautiful and enchanting because of you.
I love you mom.
It’s All Upstream from Here
the world is my oyster as I unfurl my leaves,
taking root as far as I please.
My Passion and My Purpose quietly flourish,
only to reach for the golden light who feeds my soul.
I must spread like a fire before anyone knows.
but when the time arrives,
I will bear fruit and you will know Sweet Victory too.
I am obsessed with any normal plant thriving in water alone.
I think it is absolutely enthralling.
Maybe its the chance to watch the roots grow.
Or maybe it is the fact that our aquatic transplants are growing better then their earth-bound friends.
Awesome Sweet Corn…
Incredible Sweet Corn…
We originally left our broccoli plant to return to the earth.
But he stayed green long enough we have decided to see if it’s possible to save him.
So far so good…
You can see the hairs of roots beginning.
It was just a sad rootless stalk before this fish tank transfer.
I really like the idea of growing plants from clippings.
So I tried with a number of plants at the house but the only one I put in water was the Sweet Mint that has now take root.
Yesterday was an eventful day for the house.
A lot of creative energy buzzing and swirling about.
I don’t have the largest garden budget and love to venture beyond the typical use of soil.
Dustin, being the innovative engineer he is, created our first models of the aquaponics creations we have now scatter around the house.
The long root is the sweet corn Dustin placed in.
The Ballon Mollys think I’m feeding them.
The left one, Jabba the Hut, is prego.
