We planted some african daisies, a yellow flower I cannot pronounce and poppies.
He is my roomies.
My friend Toasty passed on this Eggcellent use of eggshells.

I didn’t realize how many attempts it would take to grow cilantro from seeds.
They love the sun but my garage operation for seedling growth is their most successful spot.

A little update on the seed operation.
It makes the garage one of my favorite sitting spots.
A place of Peace, Joy and Life.
I have really come to love planting seeds.
The satisfaction of living green things growing from a dormant state and me not killing them is as I repeat, a great satisfaction.
I have been going to walmart and dollar stores for those 20 cent seed packets.
They grow beautifully.
There is Romaine,
and another leafy lettuce I lost the packet for.
Those Delicious Roma Tomatoes !

I adore the garden our wonderful little household has created. It’s beautiful and life-giving. But what else I love is the inspirations of another’s wonderland. Here’s a few captured moments of my morning in my friends’ garden …

I am obsessed with any normal plant thriving in water alone.
I think it is absolutely enthralling.
Maybe its the chance to watch the roots grow.
Or maybe it is the fact that our aquatic transplants are growing better then their earth-bound friends.

We originally left our broccoli plant to return to the earth.
But he stayed green long enough we have decided to see if it’s possible to save him.
So far so good…
You can see the hairs of roots beginning.
It was just a sad rootless stalk before this fish tank transfer.
I really like the idea of growing plants from clippings.
So I tried with a number of plants at the house but the only one I put in water was the Sweet Mint that has now take root.
Yesterday was an eventful day for the house.
A lot of creative energy buzzing and swirling about.
I don’t have the largest garden budget and love to venture beyond the typical use of soil.
Dustin, being the innovative engineer he is, created our first models of the aquaponics creations we have now scatter around the house.
The long root is the sweet corn Dustin placed in.
